the very short bio Fabrice Maruca is the president of the Jury of the International Competition. Since university, he has directed short films but also commercials, clips for Amel Bent or Natasha St Pier. He also writes for television with Un gars, une fille and Scène de ménages, then ends up adapting his own short film La Minute Vieille into a series for Arte.

In November 2021 his first feature film Si on chantait was released, he is currently working on his second.

Marianne Chazelas

the very short bio Assistant director in animated films on short and feature films, Marianne Chazelas has notably worked on the multi-awarded film Ma vie de Courgette by Claude Barras (2016).

In 2019, she decided to devote herself to the delegated production in order to accompany the directors in their projects. With Maxime Fossier, she founded 12//24 Films. Specialized in animation, the production company works with all techniques and strives to create bridges with traditional cinema.

Jérôme Parlange

Coordinator CICLIC

the very short bio Jérôme Parlange is the emergence and short film coordinator at CICLIC, the Centre-Val de Loire regional agency for books and images.

He is in charge of various support programs for film and audiovisual professionals based in the Centre-Val de Loire region: professional training, writing workshops and creative residencies. It also coordinates several financial support schemes for short and/or feature films.

Colette Quesson

the very short bio Colette Quesson founded À PERTE DE VUE in 2011, which carries short and feature-length fiction, documentary and animation films. She seeks to produce films that uplift us, engage us and open up our horizons.

Previously, Colette Quesson was the general coordinator of the Premiers Plans Festival in Angers and worked on the launch of the European network of cinemas Europa Cinemas. She also worked at CICLIC, participating in the financing of independent productions and many first films.

Quentin Delcourt

the Very short bio Quentin Delcourt is a writer, director and producer of short and feature films. In 2018, he created with Laurence Meunier the international film festival Pluriel-les which honors women and inclusion in contemporary cinema.

A year later, he set up his production company IRRIX Films. He recently directed the documentary film Pygmalionnes and the short film Impatientes. He will soon direct the documentaries Pygmalionnes Africa and Mâle Aimé, as well as his first feature film Les Mouettes. For him, "the very short film is a demanding exercise. You have to aim right and leave nothing to chance, because every second counts.

Delphine Malausséna

the very short bio Delphine Malausséna graduated from the ENS Louis Lumière. She was first a sound engineer before dedicating herself to film music composition. She composed the soundtrack of the feature films 5e Set by Quentin Reynaud and Moon 66 questions by Jacqueline Lentzou, selected at the Berlinale in 2021. In 2022, she is laureate of the Berlinale talents and nominated for the Michel Legrand prize in the emerging talents category.

She signed the soundtracks of the feature films Chien de la casse by Jean-Baptiste Durand (currently in theaters) and En plein feu by Quentin Reynaud, released in 2023, and has just finished those of the films Ebba by Johanna Pyykkö and Laroy by Shane Atkinson.

the very short bio Nixon Singa is a director and screenwriter. He directed his first self-produced short film À chacun sa peine in 2017. Following this first experience, he participated in the CICLIC workshops that accompany emerging young people.

This is how he discovered the Residency program at the Fémis in 2020. He directed his graduation film Espoir, a dive into the daily life of a soccer training center where young players are subjected to violent pressure. The film is currently available on MyCanal. Nixon is currently developing his next short film, a film in the world of Afro Dance.

Céline Cloarec

the very short bio Céline Cloarec is a professional editor. Her meeting with the director Audrey Estrougo marked the beginning of a beautiful collaboration on many projects including La Taularde and soon the series Kaiser Karl.

Afterwards, she collaborated on series (Agatha Christie's Little Murders, Polar Park, Ovni(s), Irrésistible...) and edited several multi-awarded feature films (L'amour flou and Mine de Rien).
