La Très Courte bioAntony Cordier was born in Tours into a working family, a subject he explored in his first film, the documentary Beau Comme Un Camion. He studied cinema at La Fémis and went on to direct three feature films: Douches Froides, selected for the Cannes Film Festival and recipient of the Louis Delluc Prize for Best First Film; Happy Few, selected for Competition at the Venice Film Festival; and Gaspard Va Au Mariage. Recently, he directed the 24 episodes of the series OVNI(s) for Canal+. He is currently preparing to shoot his fourth feature film.

La Très Courte bioSince 2000 and the establishment of Films du Préau, Emmanuelle Chevalier, a distributor, has aimed to introduce young audiences to films by authors from all corners of the world and to accompany screenings in theaters. The guiding principle for this distributor has always been to follow a demanding and diverse editorial line to introduce children to an "other/different" cinema.

La Très Courte bioMariama Gueye is a French actress. She attended drama classes at the Cours Florent, then furthered her training at the Laboratoire de l'Acteur. She has appeared in several series, including Gloria, Le Meilleur d'entre nous, and Drôle, currently on Netflix, as well as in feature films such as Selfie, Sous X, and L'Ascension. In 2023, she starred in two feature films, Les Meilleures and Le Marchand de sable. She will soon be appearing in Les Petites Mains by Nessim Chikhaoui in 2024.

Head of Distribution at Ciclic

La Très Courte bioEmilie PAREY, Distribution Manager at Ciclic, the regional agency of Centre-Val de Loire for literature, image, and digital culture, is a public cultural cooperation establishment (EPCC).

After studying literature and obtaining a Master's degree in cultural mediation in Paris, she began her professional career in Seine-Saint-Denis within the Department's cultural service, as a project manager for cinema. In 2010, she became the general delegate of the Vendôme Film Festival, which focuses on emerging cinema, encompassing both short and feature films, and also took on the role of distribution manager at Ciclic Centre-Val de Loire. In 2015, she became responsible for the itinerant operation of the Cinémobile in Centre-Val de Loire.

Passionate about short films for nearly 20 years, she discovers young authors and also original forms and unique tones of storytelling. She appreciates when short films are spaces for experimentation while evoking emotions, from laughter to tears.

Documentary Programs Advisor at France Télévisions

La Très Courte bioCharlène Gourmand is a documentary program advisor at France Télévisions. Trained in journalism, she joined the group in 2014. Initially serving as an editorial project manager and editor, she contributed to the creation of content for young adults through France TV Slash. After conceptualizing and producing short programs for the social media platforms of this new media outlet, since 2019, she has been curating and supporting documentaries for this digital platform.

La Très Courte bioClara Bourreau is a screenwriter who writes for television and cinema. In 2023, the films Divertimento (directed by MC Mention Schaar), Le Paradis (directed by Z. Graton), and A mon seul désir (directed by L. Borleteau), which she co-wrote, were released in theaters. She also provided consultations for Astrakan directed by D. Depesseville. Currently, she is working on several feature film projects.

For television, she is developing various projects. Her screenwriting work, she has written two children's novels and doesn't particularly enjoy speaking about herself in the third person singular.

Alexandre Philip

Actor, writer and film director

La Très Courte bioTrained in dramatic art at the Conservatoire de Tours. He co-founded the Compagnie Les Gueuribands with Samuel Bodn, with whom he created four shows. In 2012, he began a career as a screenwriter by creating the award-winning series Lazy Company with Bodn, which was also adapted into a comic book. In 2022, he made his directorial debut with the comedic series Handicops for France.TV. Meanwhile, he is working on three new series in development while continuing his acting career. He has appeared in series such as Vestiaires on France 2, where he was awarded "best newcomer" at La Rochelle in 2017, as well as projects like Marianne and Balle Perdue on Netflix, Machine on Arte, and Extra, soon to be on OCS.
